Re: The Red Spider Project

@gordo: Good idea. Your try is certainly recognizable as a spider! Just an idea that popped in mind: if one can use the ASCII image to specify a set of operators and operands, we can include a parser that parses the image. The result could be 0xFF0000 ;-) Do you mean something like a visual program...

(I'm sort following this topic in the background, although I still haven't gotten to completely reading it...) I think a top-view of a spider might be more recognizable... e.g. something like this I suck at ASCII art, but I'll give it a try: | | | | _v_ | | \ \__/o o\__/ / \___: :___/ ___| |___ / _\...

Can you post your code? Are you using pure Python? I'm not entirely sure how Python handles floating point numbers internally, but it shouldn't have problems with anything that is within the range of a 64-bit double precision floating point number. n = 20 >>> math.factorial(6*n) / (math.factorial(3*...

Can someone explain what the rationale is behind the "callee pays"-system? Okay, so.. pre-cell phones, you had your (555)555-5555 numbers. Anything in (555)555-XXXX was a free call as it was local, and you only needed to dial 555-5555. If you called (777)555-5555, that was a long distance...
