I usually look for the "BEST BOY" credits to see who's kids actually wanted their names in the credits for doing nothing. Best Boy is actually a role within the electrical department of the film (sorta like a cable runner/apprentice)...but perhaps I just missed your /sarcasm tag there...a...

If I might add John Carpenter's "They Live" to this little thread, not for the technical brilliance, nor for the fantastic performances, but for the 15 minute fight scene that was entirely unchoreographed...the 'cripple fight' from South Park was a recreation of this stunning moment in cin...

The Three Colours Trilogy.

Fantastically written, performed and interwoven together masterfully. I'd recommend them to anyone who hasn't seen them.

All the others I would mention have already been mentioned, so I'll just shut up now.

Re: Great Scenes In Film

The end of the first Godfather film. Cinematic excellence. The scene from The Birds, the birds on the jungle gym. Justification for both of these: I consider film to be a visual medium, these scenes are driven entirely by vision, no dialogue to mess up the visuals, just pure cinema and music (a brea...

I don't think I've ever seen Whedon end something. Our Changeling GM allowed us to give up some of our Morality for Merit points, I'm pretty sure he let Ghostwolfe trade some mental points for Merits as well, it's good when you have a GM that encourages good RP and is willing to 'bend the rules' a little to further encourage that RP.
