It's taking a lot of strength to resist the tempation to change the update in the title to 'Mayhem ensures' It would certainly be an accurate update. The current title is out of date now anyway... I've been finding it an interesting thread to follow, perhaps something more generic *would* be useful...

Also, Gibraltar is talking to Scotland about getting together to stay in. Together with NI, how about settling it by having England+Wales gain 'independence' and leave the United Kingdom Of Scotland And Northern Ireland (And Gibraltar (And The Falklands, Just To Make A Point)), happily in the EU? UTIs really suck, y'all. I know that's not exactly groundbreaking news, but it bears repeating. (at least it's not shark week. that would suck more. Silver lining?) I have a possible for 'red letters' - had a listen, and it does sound like a 't' in the middle, but 'red leaders' were a thing in the shipyards back in the day. (Maybe it's an accent thing!) Of course. Anything that makes you feel good, anything that gives you instant (or even non-instant) gratification, is by nature addictive. Tasty food is addictive. Exercise is addictive. Sex is addictive. It's a natural mechanism, the same mechanisms that produce addiction are related to producing ...

I don't know a great deal about astronomy, but isn't that just the light from it hitting the atmosphere and starting to burn? If it exploded at that point, you'd get hundreds of broken parts shooting off in all directions, not a single piece continuing in the same trajectory. Surely?

I think you're assuming that all homicides constitute premeditated and willful murder. That is rather the definition of 'homicide'.
