Eating MORE healthily, rather than perfectly healthily. Doing MORE exercise, rather than daily exercise. That is the biggest most important lesson that so many people seem to miss. Make your changes small, even smaller then you think you need to make them. Pick one easy goal, write it down and put ...

Re: Nutrition for running

Those are some super protein packed lentils you have there. Also .5g per kg? An 80kg individual needs 40g of protein if he isn't a hard out weight lifter? That's just plain wrong. Like to the point where you're risking protein deficiency.

With the protein slack taken up by other foodstuffs, why would it not be? There are healthy diets with meat every meal and healthy diets completely without. Well because the diet you mentioned doesn't really include many protein sources, bar lentils. Which you'd need to be eating ALOT of(600+ grams...

Those numbers don't seem overly drastic to me at all. Perhaps 5kg in 2weeks isalot after a month or two of dieting or what ever is a little high but not for the first fortnight.

There is nothing wrong with those numbers. They equate to an average daily ammount of 2350 which is only 150 calories short of your goal(a number which is still quite low for a male) and honestly 150 calories either way means nothing. You are making sure that 1/3rd of your calories comes from fat an...

On one hand - I don't actually believe this. I studied it in psychology but it's never made any sense. If you do indeed mean an eliptical it isn't resistance work at all. But no you won't be wrecking the exercise by adding abit of bounce or so. It takes energy to propell your body like that, you're probably also able to exert more effort since it's a more efficient movement. Granted Nath might be rig...
