Re: Postify your facerity

Re: High School bathroom graffiti: intellectualized

Written in recruit ink pen, most of it in recruit handwriting, Recruits use different pens and have different handwriting from everyone else? I mean, of course, you're probably right in that you can infer it from the location, but i've got to wonder about the handwriting analysis. Actually, in Navy...

Re: High School bathroom graffiti: intellectualized

It's not exactly the topic, but I just want to share. I recently found myself in a stall of a particular female recruit head in boot camp in which many, many, many people had written their own bits of graffiti. Written in recruit ink pen, most of it in recruit handwriting, was the most inspirational...

Re: Post your handwriting!

I also like writing cursive f's. Mine tend to just have a point on the top bit, instead of the loop. I have no idea why my handwriting changes so drastically when I'm filling out a form... Possibly something to do with my messy-as-hell print and the fact that I've come across more than a few people...

Re: Postify your facerity

Since it's been forever and a half I figure I should post a new one of me. I spent three months in Navy boot camp only to get sent home for being broken, so my Navy hair is all grown out. I just got home Friday and on Sunday I went and punched a new hole in my face. Yay!

Re: Awesome Teacher Quotes

The second one. The majority of the convesation just doesn't compute. Druids... taste like mushrooms... Something about their souls... My head hurts. Wait, something just clicked... or snapped... and I realized this was in reference to D&D, still makes my head spin though. Breathe deeply, dear....

Re: INTRO THREAD THE THIRD

Hiiiii. I've been reading xkcd for a little less than a year (probably... I dunno). I finally broke down and joined because I love you all so much. :D Ok, that might be a lie... But you are pretty awesome. Also, I'm Jordan, I'm 18, I live in Northern Virginia and have all my life (yeah, I know). At ...

Re: High School Pranks

It's not really a prank but our class did the alternate vehicle thing as well. They parked their cars at a Giant for the day and set out on bikes, skateboards, tricycles, rollerblades, scooters and assorted other wheeled things (one was one of those little tykes red and yellow plastic cars) tied to ...

Re: Awesome Teacher Quotes

Um.... WTF? Funny as hell... but seriously, WTF? I don't understand the question... Are you WTFing about the brother's abundance of fungi? Or the absurdity of the teachers' conversation in general? Do you have some sort of affinity for mushrooms and/or druids and don't believe Mrs. B. doesn't like ...

Re: High School bathroom graffiti: intellectualized

Our school had a sign posted in every stall, on the back of the door, instructing high school students on proper hand-washing technique and at the bottom in much smaller print it said, "Please do not write on this sign." To me, that always seemed to be simply begging for someone to do just...

Re: Awesome Teacher Quotes

In my senior year in high school I was an aide for an Earth Science teacher who rarely had anything for me to do, so I would go upstairs to this awesome Oceanography teacher's room and hang out with him his aide, Kathleen (a girl I happen to be completely, stupidly, ridiculously in love with), and s...
