Some great examples here: http://www.worstinfographic.com/ My personal favourite (and it's tall) is this one: http://www.worstinfographic.com/botox-and-you/ Thanks! that site is amazing. Here's one nugget I found on the "Hare today, gone tomorrow?" description: "For example, we are f...

Public service for those not already aware: http://deslide.clusterfake.net/ I haven't checked whether it works with those horrific zooming ones, because fortunately I've never come across an unavoidable one on any site I can't simply never visit again. From that site's latest changes: updated suppo...

Re: 1262: "Unquote"

It just seems reasonable that thousands of years from now there will be a lot of today still available for anyone who cares. That might be what actually unquotes our culture. Inconceivable! You Keep Using That Word, I Do Not Think It Means What You Think It Means. Ideas are conceived. So he is sayi...

Re: 1262: "Unquote"

Given the fact that we're still quoting literature and religious books that are several millennia old, and given the impact that Star Wars has left in this time compared to that of other works released since quite a while, I don't think it's going to be unquoted any time soon. Same with: - The Lord...

Re: 1259: "Bee Orchid"

So the memory of the bee will survive in the form of human horitcultural/artistic reinterpretation of a blind plant's attempts at bee porn. LOL! I was thinking that maybe it would be the reinterpretation of a blind plant's successful incursions at bee porn because, you know, the evidence suggests t...

Re: What-If 0057: "Dropping a Mountain"

I really liked this post.

On the last part I thought "wow, is it really that easy to miss a planet?" but then missing a planet and hitting Mars (sorry, "New Netherlands") has to be extremely difficult.

Very funny

Re: 1234: "Douglas Engelbart (1925-2013)"

I remember the video of Douglas Engelbart demonstrating the use of the mouse, only that the "mouse" was controlled using both hands. A set of controls were attached to the chair's left arm rest and the "pointing" was done by something akin to a joystick on the right arm rest of t...

Re: What-If 0049: "Sunless Earth"

I think that if the sun went "off", there would be a sharply decrease in skin cancer globally, also, there would be no need to use sun blockers or anti-aging creams that claim to restore the damage caused by the sun. Also, it would make the planet inhabitable for velociraptors. But most im...

Re: 1196: "Subways"

I liked the comic, I find very funny how it implies that you can get from one airport to another airport by subway, for example, from MEX to LAX by trans-boarding in Baltimore (and probably Philadelphia too). Can you imagine the migration implications of that? You just take the metro from D.F., Mexi...
