Re: Cool games on the interweb redux

Here's another one of those engineering puzzlers that are just awesome. This one is based around circuit design.

Re: House of omgwhyamIturningmybook Leaves.

If you've skimmed through this thread - avoiding spoilers of course - and nothing has scared you away, then I would certainly recommend it. It's the type of book that some people certainly would not like and others should certainly not read, but if you're at all interested you'll be hooked. That's m...

Re: House of omgwhyamIturningmybook Leaves.

I find it amazing how well this book manages to freak the jebus out of me by simply reading through this thread. Seriously. I finished the book probably more than a month ago and it's currently not even at my house but instead with my girlfriend who I am having read it so it isn't even like it's sit...

Re: Cool games on the interweb redux

Fans of zombie games should enjoy this one inspired by Left 4 Dead. Left4kDead
I believe it was created for a contest so the actual size is under 4k, hence the name.

Re: Enjoying bad movies

I think that Manos: The Hands of Fate is pretty much the epitome of bad movies, it's pretty hilarious. Actually Mystery Science Theater 3000 did it once that was awesome. Is it even possible to find a non-MST3K version of Manos? Actually, I was introduced to the movie by a friend who actually had a...

Re: Stagecraft: School Project

Yea. I'm looking for any sources that might have detailed information on how lighting, set design, costumes and all that are used in conjunction to make a successful show. I'm not really looking for you to explain all that to me yourself because I already know it as well. I need to cite sources thou...

Stagecraft: School Project

OK so my school requires us to do an exhibition project in order to graduate and because I am a member of the stage crew for the school production I thought I would relate the two by doing my project on the various sub groups of satgecraft like lighting, set design, costumes, etc. I have been having...

Re: Buffy The Vampire Slayer (And Spinoffs)

Personally I think Wesley is my favorite character in the whole Angel series. He without a doubt evolved the most as a character and by the end I think I would go to say that he is the strongest as a person.

Re: Anyone Seen Breach?

When i saw this movie I almost considered walked out of the theater. However, looking back on it, the movie was not what I expected. It was all talk and no action like it seemed to be advertised. In other words, the previews showed the 2 scenes from the movies that actually had guns in them, making ...

Re: Buffy The Vampire Slayer (And Spinoffs)

The thing with season 6 was simply that it was depressing. The actual storytelling was excellent, but after spending so much time watching the characters grow and change in previous seasons, watching them in so much pain kind of sucked and wasn't as enjoyable.

Yea the season eight comics are excellent. I haven't gotten to the Angel ones just yet however as I'm still catching up with the show. I just wish they came out faster.
