Re: Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Very cool site, but I'm a bit worried that there doesn't seem to be choices in augmentation. They only really have one listed per body part. On the other hand, the trailer shows swords and guns embedded in the arms of the main character, so hopefully the RPG element is alive and well. In this trail...

Re: Doctor Whom

I think it's also mentioned that River killed a great man or something earlier in her timeline. It would be interesting if it was the Doctor and she became a villain especially because of the way that The Doctor and River meet backwards so River sees the Doctor change from antagonist to ally over he...

I played multiplayer for the first time yesterday on another server and they're just building houses and making mines. Logging into the xkcd server just now and seeing a mine track and redstone electronics all over the place is amazing. Also when I saw the GIANT xkcd sign I shed a single tear of joy.

Jack eventually turns into the Face of Bo, so if he does turn villainous, it'll be temporary. Well, since he is immortal, temporary could be just a couple million years  Yeah or the measures that the doctor takes in stopping him could cause him to become the Face of Bo. This is assuming that ...

Re: Team Fortress 2

My problem is that many of the new items have seemingly random attributes. It seems that they're just getting a weapon skin they like and slapping on a + 10 damage and -15 fire resistance before releasing it. At least the original items (the 'achievement era' weapons) had interesting attributes whic...

Yeah definitely . It seems that the plasmids are somehow less refined and more 'organic' like the crow control (tm) ability. Also it looks like they can be combined with those of the support character to make more powerful/ creative attacks.

They haven't outright called them plasmids. In the demo apparently the protagonist gets an ability an by drinking a bottle of stuff he finds while in Rapture the plasmids are injections so it seems they are different to plasmids in origin but the same in function.

Buying this is functionally similar to buying a diamond for yourself in that there is no function. The only purpose is to let others know that you are rich, which is fine for people that feel the need to do that.
