Re: Software you use for organizing your stories?

Yeah, I'll admit that 750 Words may not work for everybody. I will say it was really helpful in getting me to keep up a daily writing habit again. The metadata feature is useful too, I liked being able to tag specific paragraphs rather than whole daily entries. From what I can tell, Scrivener and yW...

Software you use for organizing your stories?

Apologies if I posted this in the wrong forum, but I was just curious if any of you writers out there used any special programs/websites/software/whathaveyou while writing your stories? Some background: for the past few years I've been working on this massive space fantasy-ish epic, and I always lov...

Touching on the "Quesada ruined Spider-Man!" tangent for just a nanosecond: I will give him the benefit of the doubt when it comes to the better stories that have come post-OMD. Heck, I very recently had to contend with the possibility that "Sins Past" may not be the complete abo...

Well, I'd finally caught up to the last few strips I'd missed out on over the last few months (yay for slow updates? :? ), and though I was never into D&D I still have to say Rich Burlew is a sick genius of a plotter. Are we going to find out about Haley's father now, or is that just going to be...

Crisis on Infinite Continuity Lockout?

Just thought I'd get some xkcdians' thoughts on this. I just got word that DC is planning to reboot their main universe real soon. (Yeah, I know. Again. ) I don't know why, but between this and the deal with Ultimate Marvel a few years back I felt oddly... well, let me just copy-paste a lengthy post...

Drums and electric guitar. Also violin just because of that awesome stance you get playing it. Ironically reading this article had reminded me all over again of my unhealthy love for Beck's "Lonesome Tears ." There's the orchestral swelling leading up to the chorus, the briefly disorienting drums at the beginning, I-I am just too overwhelmed by the overall loveliness of that song. A...

I find the comic funny, just not really xkcd-funny. I can't explain it, the punchline just sounds like it was someone else's comedic style somehow.
Really was a matter of time though, it was inevitable for Randall to draw a Wikileaks-related comic.

It seems that most people think of only the 50s Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies, primarily because those were/are shown more frequently than any made in the 40s or 30s, with the exception of some, like "I Love to Singa". One reason is they seem to appeal to a wider audience than the earlier ...
