I think I have it now. Knock on wood. Thank you very much! If you ever need help writing an essay (or even expressing a sentiment in Spanish), please do not hesitate to ask me.

Math help?

I have an equation as part of my nutrition homework, and I have all of the necessary information, but I'm just not sure what to do with it. Any help would be appreciated, and it would also be neat if you could keep from making fun of me, but that last part is optional. I don't want the answers- that...

Currently it's a three-way tie between Chowder, The Venture Bros. and 30 Rock.

I'm listening to the new Green Day album; I feel happy and wonderful inside. My husband said he hated it; now I know I need a new husband.

Re: Twilight?

My mother in law knows I "like to read" and got me all of the Twilight books for my birthday. I'm a little scared, but it was (technically) a really thoughtful gift, so I'm going to bite the bullet and read them. Hopefully I'll have something witty to contribute.

Re: Awesome bands that nobody's heard of

I am constantly having to explain to everyone the awesomeness that is The Aquabats. It's ska and crime fighting and happiness. But I just found out Nitro Records dumped them, so they won't be able to make a new album. I don't know what I'm going to do without my favorite band of masked superheroes. ...

Math can't be god because it exists whether or not you believe in it. This is to say that if math were god, it wouldn't be real.

Ok, I'll stop.

My creative writing teacher is terrible. She had the class buy a book of HER poetry for the course. She offers harsh criticism for everything but doesn't give concrete examples of how to fix anything. Her handwriting is incomprehensible, and she spends large amounts of class time talking about herse...

Maybe you could just half-ass it and eat canned chili?

The husband is gone for an extended period of time so I'm cooking for one right now, and I do a lot of half-assing to avoid the exact problem you're having. Mediocrity for the win.

Maybe try

I was unsure of her motives even though she asked "Don't you think that one's better?"

I'm not entirely happy with that either... but when punctuation is tricky like that I try and rephrase the sentence.

I hate the DMV system in Hawaii. Re: Strange or even mildly amusing things about your body

I have an extra lumbar vertibrae due to a deformity with my coccyx, and my right hip bone is fused to my spine. It makes me stiff and sore, so it's hard to bend or to sit in one position for a long time (like long car trips). But on the plus side, it did get me out of my last year of gym class.
