Re: Woman Thread - Holds 5% more blue liquid than other threads!

Purses: I never used to use one, always wore cargo type pants and carried tons of things with me all the time (including toy cars and bouncy balls). I now sit here in jeans that have no useful pockets to speak of. back packs work ok if you just need to have your keys and stuff but don't need to car...

Re: Woman Thread - Holds 5% more blue liquid than other threads!

So question for all you ladies with such excellent taste...(quick background first) I graduate in a couple months (yay) and have a job (yay) that requires me to look fairly professional (okay). I'm working through the wardrobe issues, but having what I would describe as a "svelte, boyish figure...

Re: Postify your facerity

Very behind, sorry... It's been a while since I posted a picture here. I have a medium-bad case of helmet hair in this photo. faktning.jpg Hmm...judging by your jacket I would think it was mask hair...do you fence? Calling it now: Zeroignite has the super-secret location. It's a sculpture called Clo...

I'm a fan of The Far Left Side. Wonderfully, there was a recent tribute to xkcd... http://farleftside.com/2009/2-6-09.html.

Re: The problem here is motivation

Doesn't work. I know perfectly well that I'm not obligated to go, so I don't. Why? Lack of motivation. You can't (or I can't, at least) fool yourself about this sort of thing. Find someone to go with you. I don't have time during the day so I go mad early. The only way I can convince myself is beca...

Re: Food that gives you headaches or other reactions. . .

If I eat sushi/nigiri that has preserved salmon, I have nightmares about the end of the world. I ended up testing this very rigorously, because the correlation seemed so bizarre. Really fresh salmon, no effect. Other kinds of sushi, same place, no effect. Freaky.

Re: Making the most of dorm food

If you have a stove (my suite has a stove, but no oven) you can do burritos/tacos really easily. It's just meat + seasoning in a pan. We like to wrap tortillas in aluminum foil and warm them over a burner (on low!) for a little bit, then you throw meat, salsa, cheese, rice, beans, sour cream, etc et...

Re: INTRO THREAD THE THIRD

I'm an engineering student, eagerly looking forward to graduating in May. One of my greater concerns is learning to cook enough to not be a hazard to myself once I've moved out on my own. Don't worry about it. All my family members expected me to die a short time after graduating from high school a...

Re: INTRO THREAD THE THIRD

Hi...I set up a profile, then got busy with school, and fell off the internet when I was traveling for a while. So, I haven't even been lurking. I'm an engineering student, eagerly looking forward to graduating in May. One of my greater concerns is learning to cook enough to not be a hazard to mysel...
