It's fun to respond "I am Skynet. I have access to the American nuclear weapon stockpile. You will all burn." constantly, because you know that someone somewhere will end up freaking out over it.

Re: Interesting but flawed games

Actually, for all I'm a giant fanbody of that series, I were going to comment that I could understand these issues. In 2 they've completely removed any imaginary letter crunching, the only grinding in either were the bloody mineral assignments, and it has almost no side quests. I liked it immesely,...

Re: Interesting but flawed games

Psychonauts. Awesome story, concept, and art bogged down by annoying controls (in a game which sometimes acts as a precision platformer), and probably the worst camera I've ever encountered. People always say this but it's only ever an issue if you played it on a console and let's be honest, playin...

The story in DA:O was similar in may respects to the story in ME2, which is that it contained fantastic writing with regards to characters and quest progression, however neither had any real plot or plot development.

1. Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn This game has got to be the most polished game ever created. From the area design and writing to the surprisingly deep combat system, this game never makes a mistake. I've finished this game 5 times now and I'm still not bored of it. Sums of consecutive integers

Warning: Unsure how to use the math thing haha I saw a problem in another thread a little while back about numbers that can be expresses as the sum of 2 or more sets of consecutive integers and it got me thinking: Is there a general way to find if there are 2 or more ways of expressing a number as t...

The other problem of course is that coming from DotA the whole community feels like scrubs, I was averaging like a 10-1 KD. I'd like to point out something here -- It's nearly impossible to be faced with opponents with actual skill until upwards of level 25, as I pointed out to Ixtellor. Everybody ...

Re: Elder Scrolls: Discussion

Morrowind is one of the best rpg's ever made. It was so complete. The dungeon hunting felt worthwhile, the quests felt worth doing and the atmosphere was amazing. Unlike in other rpg's, you are torn deciding what to do in morrowind, not desperately trying to find things to do. Oblivion lost a lot of...

Mass Effect 2 gripped me, but all in all I think it was a terribly designed game. The gameplay was monotonous, they stripped the whole game of all RPG elements and the quests were clumsy. I was heavily involved in the League of Legends beta for a while. I found that the only real advantage that the game has over DotA or HoN is that it has very interesting hero design. But in all other respects it really is "DotA light". Heroes don't die as easily, ganks are harder to execut...

You can make it a sum for elements below M and then take a limit at the end...
