Re: 1953: "The History of Unicode"

(What's the word for people who live in Maine?) Mainers, although I don't think there's technically an official demonym. I know a few who like to call themselves Mainiacs. And then there's the ultra-special breed, the Maineiacs, who you'll find screaming abuse at opposing goaltenders from the stude...

I was so confused for a while - looks like the image didn't get loaded correctly.

On a related note - Maine made XKCD! Yay! and Awwww, at our idiot senator. We need to dethrone the King.

If you aren't making french onion soup on a daily basis, you are missing out. Low and slow....... lots of cheese.

Re: 1931: "Virtual Assistant"

This thread of start-up and shutdown sounds takes me back. On my first laptop (high school) I changed the start-up sound to The Matrix's "Welcome... to the real world" and the shut down sounds to, again the Matrix, "Hey man, it just sounds to me like you might need to unplug". No...

Re: 1190: "Things that be on my side for 600, Alex!"

Yes, yes... do it, I want to watch the angry dome burn in the coolest way possible! This however bring up a good question, how large of a trebuchet woll-did you need to launch a nuke far enough that you wouldn’t kill yourself in the blast… I be sure it be a matter of size, per se, so much as the st...

Re: 1190: "Time"

I'm running into a problem - I'm actually DREAMING about newpix and time. I think I recall queball and Megan crawling across the top of a frame, and something about throwing a soda c-a-n at us timewatchers/newpixians/initiates-of-time.

I mean this now more than ever, Randall, GOOMH!

For the record, it is now 5:00 pm on the east coast. I just called my wife to say I was going to have to work late at the office. I'm thinking I did that mostly just so I can wait for newpix without her distraction. I may be here for 6-8 more newpix. Randall, no amount of money you will ever make ca...

Re: 1190: "Time"

Ok, I've been lurking since roughly comic #300 or so, and am one of the horde that finally registered. May I submit my application to Newpixia? Tossing my own theory out there, I think Randall IS watching these boards, quite carefully, and has adapted a bit of the storyline. I'm guessing he would ha...
