Re: Nintendo's E3: Mario, Metroid, Golden Sun...

B. Yes. They've been doing Mario, Zelda, and Metroid forever. Yes, it's kind of annoying that they're doing Galaxy 2 instead of another, weirder Mario. Why isn't Halo ODST a cop-out? Or God of War 3? All three are likely to be awesome, and yet Nintendo always gets shafted in terms of PR I didn't me...

Re: Belief/Faith

You may not see it, but beliefs in religions and such do serve a purpose. Basically, a mental safety net. A lot of people like to think that there's something there after we die, and they want it to be positive, of course. I feel that this is how most of the religions in the world were started: peop...

Re: Left 4 Dead: 2!

Relax. If it takes as long as TF2, L4D will be made completely obsolete before they even decide on a visual style. They said November of this year. you're acting as if all any release dates ever given are final. games get pushed back, and I wouldn't be surprised if this was. my mistake :P I have to...

Re: Bioshock 2: What would you like to see?

I would love to see... well, what they promised to give us in the first Bioshock. It was a solid game, but I was severely disappointed with it because they hyped it up so much, and then didn't make it as amazing as they said they would. That definitely didn't stop reviewers from "reviewing"...

I'm looking for a F2P fantasy MMO with anime style graphics, I'm not entirely sure why but my grind itch needs to be scratched. why not try "Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine"? I'm looking to try it sometime soon... I just hope this old computer can run it :P the site is here: http://megaten.ae...

Re: Global Warming or Global Cooling?

The ocean is a great storer of carbon, but it gets released as it warms up. So the warmer it gets the more carbon it releases, which makes it even warmer still. Just a vicious cycle, eh? hehe And phonon, I agree that we can't put accurate timetables on this at all. Regardless of the amount of data ...

Re: Global Warming or Global Cooling?

Totally agreed. It's global climate change. I think if there are any articles mentioning "global cooling", it could actually be connected to "Global Warming". Couple a hundreds of years ago (sorry, can't quite remember any time specifics), the world started heating up, as it is n...

Re: Can a videogame make you cry?

The ending of Planescape: Torment, actually. I was very attached to a certain tiefling. Edit: Oh, and an earlier post reminded me: Legend of Dragoon. I cried my fucking eyes out for that game. Legend of Dragoon is another that got me emotional. Fantastic game! It was me and my brother's first RPG, ...

Re: Can a videogame make you cry?

I, personally, have never cried from a videogame. But that sure doesn't mean they can't impart emotions upon the player. I've played games where it has made me really like characters, get annoyed by others, downright hate others still, etc. Closest thing to crying, though, that I've ever come to is ...
