Post your 2010 AP/IB Scores!

You can call and get your (AP) scores now for $8/call, but they should be coming soon in the mail.

Lets see how much our xckd brothers destroyed the AP/IB Tests.

EDIT: I figured IB can come along too :)

Re: My school is closed because of Asbestos

The area was already sealed off to students and faculty because of the ongoing construction, and asbestos was found when they were taking down a wall, so I doubt that it was a hazard before that day.

Re: My school is closed because of Asbestos

School is closed for a second day. Seems like they tried to filter it out throughout today, but tests from tonight show there are still particles in the air around the construction zone.

Re: My school is closed because of Asbestos

I would assume it was in all the older parts of the building, unless they had previously removed it and somehow this area was left. It was disturbed by construction, so the area was already sealed off to faculty and students. No word yet on what action will be taken, though.

My school is closed because of Asbestos

Today at about 1 I was walking to the bathroom, and the principal came on the intercom system. I wanted to hear the reason behind an unrelated false fire alarm earlier in the day, so I waited in the hall to hear it. He was closing the school because construction workers renovating the girls locker r...

Re: Math Reference book for Calc and below

Seems like almost no one understood my question... I am not asking for a textbook/guide for a Calc 3 course. I know what Calc 1 and 2 generally is, and I know what AP BC covers. I am asking for a cumulative reference book for Calculus and below, just to have around. How do we put this.. Most of the...

Math Reference book for Calc and below

I should hit the ground running with Calc 3 next year in college. I am wondering if anyone has come across a math reference book or textbook for all concepts calc2/3 and below. Just something to keep around for higher math stuff. Alternatively, do I need one?

Happened to be on the phone with my girlfriend when this was posted. I told her about it, but she had not yet read it, so I said exactly what the guy said, and she said nearly exactly what the girl said. It was awesome.

How many G's for a long amount of time?

If we had a vehicle that could accelerate for very long times at a constant rate, what is the amount of G force a human could survive for days? weeks? months?

Wow. This comic is epic. It was totally worth waiting 7 or so minutes for. SkiFree basically defined my first computing experiences. I recently found it again a few years ago, and only then did I realize that getting past the monster, was no really the point to the game(but we all know it is).

Re: Mathematics Major, IT Job?

This is to help me decide if I should major in Mathematics. Basically, it's either mathematics or CS. I like math more, I am just unsure of the job availability. If I did major in mathematics, I would take quite a few CS classes along the way, or even minor in it, if that was an option.

I live outside of Boulder, Colorado, and I think it's kind of weird to do it without saying anything. I think you should pass them if you can, assuming you can hold the pace so you don't get passed by them. If you can't pass them, slow down and take it easy and stay a bit back. But if you want to dr...

Re: Clipless pedals

If you're serious about road biking, get road shoes and pedals... I use LOOK pedals with Bontrager shoes. Road pedals(Shimano, LOOK, Time, Speedplay, Campy, etc), have a nice big platform for huge power transfer. Also they are single sided so they don't waste weight where it's not needed. Although, ...
