Re: 0898: "Chain of Command"

Kinda clever.

The quote in the alt-text was my favourite part, though not for entertainment.

Re: What **should** you be doing right now?

Well,
I should be applying for jobs.
Being unemployed is starting to affect me.

I should also be practicing programming, but I do that every day.

Re: Momentary/Meandering/Meditations (Random like the plague

Friday was the longest day I've had in a while.
Not because it was stressful, it was a pretty good day.
But because I rarely stay awake for 24 hours.
And it's even more seldom that I'll go to a party ready to pass out at the start and end up staying up until 7am.
Good times all around. 8)

Re: "Spirit" Discussion

This reminds me of the movie Moon. Stupid Sam Bell, here I was all concerned for him for being a clone who was made just to work on the moon his whole life while his family was taken over by the original Sam Bell and all. But then the director told me that, really, the original Sam agreed to make t...

Re: "We Get It" Discussion

But back on the subject of the comic, people do these things for different reasons. Sometimes just to tell people they're taken "Oh me yarm! Don't get any ideas! I have a significant other!" personal pride "Oh me yarm I'M totally dating someone!" Jealousy "Oh me yarm She's ...

Re: "Well" Discussion

Several people in this thread so far have stated that their typing improved a lot after switching to dvorak. I'd like to ask them: How good was your typing before switching? How fast did you type? Did you type the proper way, blind, with 10 fingers? Very often I see people write stuff like "be...

Re: Dvorak not necessarily better than QWERTY

An interesting article appeared on Slashdot about a month ago about the QWERTY/DVORAK comparisons in the past. http://hardware.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=09/01/18/210216 I don't dispute that some might find it more comfortable or that some might find it more efficient (gaining better typing speeds...

Re: Explain your avatar!

Goatboy likes young girls? 16 year olds, perhaps? My avatar is something just known as the En-Logo. I needed some sort of "calling card" per se to identify myself over the internet. So I sat down on Paint and cooked this up. I rather like it. A friend of mine put it on my birthday cake la...

Re: How'd you come up with your username(s)?

Hehe When I was in like Grade 5 I needed a name for a temporary side character in some story I was writing/thinking up. Because I was feeling particularly uncreative at the time and didn't need the character for anything more than a minor villain, I just took an existing name and changed it a bit. I...

Re: Have you ever been Banned? (here or anywhere)

Yeah I've been banned from places It's not a great big deal. Usually for "trolling". I don't exactly consider what I was doing to be trolling but, it probably fell under it. Anyway, I've mostly given that up now. As fun as it is at times. More intelligent things amuse me more, so... I have...

Re: Nicknames

Every once in a while, in real life, I meet that ambitous person that will actually call me En. That makes me happy. But most of the time people just refer to be by name, or my last name. I used to be Karate Kid. Only one or two people ever call me that anymore, and that's only if I call them by the...

Re: The Things You Carry

I think I've slowly drifted into a rather minimalist stance on carrying things. I used to carry everything I could fit in my pockets... Now, daily I take with me: -Knife -mp3 Player -Cellphone (if it has minutes on it) -Wallet -Sunglasses -Pack of cigarertes (If I have any) -Pack of cigars (If I hav...

Reading your hints it took me about 25 seconds.

Honestly? I'd take that third hint out, it makes the puzzle far too easy.
