Hey, you, don't discuss my health with people without my consent. Especially when you barely even bother to talk to me. Especially when you don't even know if I like them or not. Not fucking cool. Don't make me turn into an even bigger asshole than I'm already capable of being. You should know better.

Re: UK Christians barred from foster parenting due to belief

Hmm, Angua I don't think that's particularly true. Foster parents do get attached to the children who pass through their care, usually with the ones who stay with them the longest. This is even more true if it's an individual child being fostered rather than a large foster hope with two foster paren...

Re: UK Christians barred from foster parenting due to belief

Yeah, this seems like a fair decision to me too. Although it does raise some interesting questions about adjacent issues. If they'd said they thought atheism was evil would they be allowed to foster? Or should we allow someone who has been raised christian to be then fostered by someone who states ...

Re: UK Christians barred from foster parenting due to belief

I'm Catholic and I support this decision also. If you're registering to foster care, you're not raising those children by your belief systems but by the guidelines set out by the government and Social Services, to which those children are in the permanent care of. You, as a foster parent, are in loc...

Re: Facebook movie - The Social Network

I don't think The Social Network lost Best Picture because the Academy don't understand the internet. The fact the Social Network got as many nominations as it did kind of disproves that theory because it wasn't a great movie, unlike Winter's Bone or The King's Speech (the same goes for Black Swan)....

Yes, because people love it when the big, well-organized, military forces show up and start playing police officers...wait, no they don't. But that doesn't make drug addiction a better thing, plenty of people have those feelings and don't turn to drugs.
