Re: So, I just saw this...

Well, I'm retarded.

I thought it was from one of Randal's comics.

So, I just saw this...

And I was wondering if it was already known here. I hope Randal sees it, he deserves the credit.

Re: I'm buying a new laptop and I'm requesting help

Why do you want a desktop replacement laptop? They're huge, not particularly portable, and not nearly as cost effective as an actual desktop. Why not a desktop, or a more reasonable sized laptop? I don't want a desktop because I like to move around in the house and not have to sit in a chair. I wan...

I'm buying a new laptop and I'm requesting help

The hardrive on my PC laptop just died, and I don't want to get it fixed. I hate my computer and I'm tired of all the crap, so I figured I'd do a bunch of research (I'm not a computer person) and find out what the AK-47 of computers would be. I'm looking to get a computer that is fast and clean, and...

Re: The Year 3000.

The immediate future looks pretty scary. An estimated 1-5% of the entire population are psychopaths, we're heading towards a global empire and our basic freedoms are dwindling as our methods of entertainment increase (brave new world-ish), we pollute more and more every day (global warming or not, p...

Re: Morality in Watchmen

I'm not responding to anybody, but I want to point out that Rorschach killed himself at the end of the story. If he really wanted to "never compromise", he would have kept quiet until he got back to civilization and then objected (granted he was hated and wanted by both criminals, the law,...

Re: I'm in the mood for restarting the Baldur's Gate series

Ha, I just reinstalled BG1 last night. I freakin love that game. Great story.

I don't like BG2 as much, but I love the graphics and sounds.

Anybody ever notice how the premade thief in BG1 has redonk thief skills?

Anybody been to Japan?

I'm planning for a trip there. If you've been, I'd like to hear what you have to say about where to go and what to do. I'll add that I want to hear whatever you have to say, regardless of whether or not you are confident in it (I'm wierd too, you know).

Re: Strange or even mildly amusing things about your body

Where to start... My head is big in proportion to my body, most hats, especially cowboy hats, won't fit. My tongue is really wide, which I think is why I have a hard time speaking articulately. It's like playing piano with gloves on. I can whistle and make a zzzz sound at the same time, it sounds li...
