Re: Unit Two: A Webcomic About Drugs, VideoGames + College

If "mortism" is discrimination against the dead, then "feminism" would be discrimination against women, but it's the opposite. So shouldn't it be be "vivism"? Sexism is discrimination on the basis of sex; racism is discrimination on the basis of race; discrimination on...

Posted even more comics since last time. Here is teaser about my newest one from the website: I'd be willing to bet people are wondering where the title of this comic came from. "Mortism" is a word I made up, and its definition is related to racism and sexism. Mortism is discriminating agi...

YES YES YES! Well I am, because I want to get into Quatum Computing. This kind of computer has a great deal of promise, but the current ones aren't particularly advanced. You like the characters in Family Guy? They're very shallow and you can't connect with them. Maybe Brian is the best character, but really. Brain and Stewie are both amazing characters, hands down. The funniest episodes are when they act as a comedy duo and go on a ridiculous adventure, like the on...

American Dad is pretty good. It has elements of Family Guy's brilliance without the annoying randomness. I don't like the characters as much though.

I tried out GIMP and I love it. I was using Sumo Paint before, which is fun to mess around with and easy to use, but overall too buggy to be taken seriously. That piece o' junk program made me lose 3 hours of work just because my roommate reset the router (its a browser-run app). GIMP is a major upg...

GIMP vs. Photoshop Elements, Which Should I Use?

Ok, I recently bought a tablet that came with Photoshop Elements in a software bundle. I wanted to use Gimp because I hear it is free and good, but I'm not sure which is better. I had a problem like this with my guitar amp, the fan on the back of it died, so I just bought a computer fan and put it in. In java, unicode escapes are converted to actual characters - even in comments. Thus, if you used the appropriate unicode escapes, you could actually end a block comment early (or get a new line for single-line comments) and execute commented-out code. I doubt that's the kind of answer you were loo...

My major beef with grades is that they are too based on tests, especially multiple choice tests. In college, your grade in a class is normally more than 75% tests, with some exceptions. The problem with tests is that they don't ONLY measure knowledge about a subject, there is a skill to taking tests...
