burn dmg on powersupply

ok so, SOMEHOW, one of the peripheral cords on my PSU was exposed to an open flame (while it was disconnected), the peripheral head and wire at the very end of the cord suffered mild burn damage. My question is, what can i do to prevent this dmg on the cord from affecting the rest of the power suppl...

lol, but that would mean I have to run a cable across the living room, up the stairs, across the hallway, then into my room xD That's why I suggested maybe connecting my good computer to the wall, and let the crappier computer use the wireless lan. It's only gonna be used for occasional light intern...

I put my first build together, and when I turned it on, nothing happened. then a fuse blew and the magic smoke came out, as far as I could tell it came from the top fan, but I'm not aware of how fast the smoke rises, so it might have come from an inner component if it rose very fast out of the top v...

Just because they are stick figures doesn't mean you should treat them as such. Think of the simple drawings as 'symbols' of the people they represent.

Identifiying men and women in XKCD

In the comic, I sometimes have trouble, especially when it is not clarified. It would be easier if I can deem anyone with hair that goes down to their chins or shoulders as a girl, but i can easily imagine a guy with such hair. Should I make this assumption or does xkcd have long haired(again, hair ...
