Re: 1190: "Time"

Early beanish taught us that "374WS A347W9" had something to do with a healing salve. More recently we learned that a "3" prefix meant "big" or "great", as in "great-water" for sea/ocean. We suspect this prefix is also used for Beardo ("37cNA&qu...

The model still seems pretty c...

Thanks to the transliteration work by Sinus-pi and the transcribed dialogs that go with it (found on the wiki) I was able to run the characters through a quick HMM analysis as promised. Sadly it seems we will need a lot more dialogs to make any significant progress. I tried to see if the characters ...

Welcome! The problem with that is, you're classifying into what? What if these characters are logograms? An HMM analysis will at least tell us the most likely transitions between classes and what might be in classes. Admittedly this might only be helpful in the case that we have some character re-e...

Re: 1190: "Time"

However, we shouldn't neglect frequency analyses. For example, subjecting the Latin alphabet to a grouping similar to BlitzGirl's grouping of the Beanish characters might result in something like this (the assignment of some characters, like U, J, or K, may be debated): The hills and valleys: AMNUV...
