I once managed to wake up at 4 am, merely because I really wanted to. I've never been able to do it since. also, I have a clock in my room whose face broke off, and i used to use it with just the hands, and no back at all, which was interesting, until the hands broke off. now it's stapled to my wall...

hahaha, ironically, just today I went to starbucks with my best friend like we do almost everyday, but at one point we just stood up, walked out, and found a field and walked around in it. That was fun. As to the lack of spontaneity and randomness in our world... even if a truly random act cannot ex...

Let's remember the title. Choices. We have to find the choice that was taken in this comic. I think it's along the lines of the guy's making a hypothetical situation where he's in a spaceship at the same point as described in his homework, to get the answers easier. then he hypothesizes (daydreams?...

Well, I guess though if we managed to come up with 4.5 million for an aircraft carrier, they really wouldn't care what we did with it. But yeah, a barge would make for an awesome start. We could build a mini xkcdia, see if it works, and if nothing else, start to produce revenue for buying an actual ...

We should start from the begining. Do we refit an aircraft carrier, or build our own? where do we get the money?

People believed 'The war of the worlds' and that was only one radio show. So I'm sure if all the news channels etc teamed up, they would at least be able to convince a large portion of the people. I think I'd believe it too, it would be a hard thing to refute.
