Re: 0954: "Chin-Up Bar"

Okay, haven't read all 5 pages of humorous debate about the humour or lack thereof in this strip, but is anyone else slightly disturbed by BHG standing on an escalator like a regular oblivioid, seemingly unaware that you can walk up those moving stairs just as if they were normal stairs? I'm also va...

Re: 0939: "Arrow"

It all comes together in Wildheart: Hell of Boomerang Tagline: "Here is Mesopotamia! Fighting is at the same age here with the History." I'd say you can't make this stuff up, but someone already has ... made it up, I mean, not said that you can't. Also, Fibonacci should write more xkcd.

Re: 0879: "Lamp"

Agree with all those who said this is the first in a while to actually make them laugh.*
No thinking, which is nice for a change, just dumb i-wish-i'd-thought-of-it college humour.

* By which I mean that it made me laugh, and was the first in a while to do so. Writing is hard.

Or he could just buy one of these: http://www.asovision.com/periperi/movie.html...and open it as many times a day as desired.

Weird Japan FTW.

Re: "Parental Trolling" Discussion

I do feel mucho lamo posting solely about her hair, but I say it's actually some of super future cool hairstyle change-o-matic with camouflgae capabilities. I'm pretty sure it goes x-ray in panel 3, because I can see her brain. And it's not a keyboard. He's gaming and that's his virtua-senso-field g...

Re: "Crossbows" Discussion

...Since we're nowhere near close to discovering it, the only option is to hope one of your lab partners discovers it accidentally, and then use that handy crossbow which you keep in your desk to kill them and take the credit for the discovery yourself... Wow, that actually makes sense. Makes it wa...

Re: "Crossbows" Discussion

Tuesday's coming. Did you bring your crossbow? I was really sad that I didn't understand this comic until I saw this post. Then I became really sad that a timely Don Hertzfeldt reference slipped under the radar. And for the record, a giant bucket may be the only safe haven from the interdimensional...

Re: "Parking" Discussion

I'm all over letting people know that they're jackasses. My office parking space has a security card reader attached to a wall next to a small car space. This small car space is clearly marked as such with three separate signs - painted on the ground, posted on the wall alongside the card reader, an...
