Re: 0864: "Flying Cars"

Isn't third panel an example of nerd sniping, only applied to non-nerds?

At least, that's what it did with me.

Re: Honor Societies

Hmmm.... I wonder if today's IE (non-)display issues are part of the comic's theme... IE doesn't properly display the page because it doesn't work in IE? :-) IE doesn't properly display the page, because, for whatever reason, Randall never closes the title tag and this is not one of the HTML things...

And there I thought I was a sicko for getting that reference! I was almost afraid of saying it loud. Nice game, but I can't seem to spread my disease all over the world.

EPIC COMIC! It's been a while since I actually laughed out loud to a comic. haha, quite funny, can't say i've heard this joke before. i used to have a girlfriend who believed these random ass adverts, as well as those stupid chain email and txts with random shit stating that if you didn't send this ...

Re: "Borders" Discussion

Excellent comic. If there was a videogame focusing on diplomacy, politics, and international negotiations, I would play it. I've heard of eRepublik before, how is it? (More importantly, how hard is it to make a difference and rise to power without an online community backing you up?) I've been plan...

Re: "Borders" Discussion

This really looks like an integration by parts joke. LIATE is the "rule of thumb" for choosing which two functions to work with when integrating by parts, but I can't figure out what YARBIS is, or how the three years factor in. ...Am I reading too much into this? What does LIATE stand for...

Integration by Parts reference FTW! ??? Funny how I was thinking about the importance of having a story for a game just yesterday. Unreal is the classic example of a game whose story is pretty much irrelevant; the "history of the level" thingies are more of a curiosity than anything you a...

Yeah, and then also change the numeration of hours in the day so that we know what you mean when you say "Wednesday night". I'm an electronic engineer myself, and I don't see why the sign of an electron's charge should be such a big matter. If it was the other way around, we'd have another...

Re: "Matrix Revisited" Discussion

Ok, how does Randall draw expressions on stick figures that dont have facial features except sunglasses? In the first drawing of Morpheus, he looks badass. In the second and third, he looks sad because he just got one upped. I think it might be the angle in the sunglasses. In the first they look st...

I am no math/physics major, but wouldn't the whole "quantum uncertainty/Schrödinger's cat" issue affect any statistical voyeurism? Well, to go with your reasoning yes, we are just estimating the probability, but until we see someone actually having sex they may or may not have it. However...

What I'm trying to tell you: It's not your place to pass judgment on others, that's what the there is a legal system for - and there's a really good reason for this, too... of course, it may be fun to chase/torture/beat up/kill homosexuals or foreigners or other people who're not really our sort of...
