The wheels make it so that the friction doesn't really exist! It's just a FACT! Well, there would be friction, but not much. A small enough amount that it doesn't really matter because the point is, it works right! The plane moves forward! Then it lifts off!

I thought the conveyor belt pusing the plane back at which ever same speed the plane is going so it would always be stationary, but the thrust should be enough to cause the plane to lift. The thrust alone doesn't create any movement - it's the movement of the air over the airfoils that creaes lift....
