Re: The "IT DOESN'T WORK!" thread

Yes, I read up on packages. It was the first thing I did, so I could try to figure out how to organize the project. After reading both of those pages, and following what they said to the best I could, I got nowhere. Hence asking for help. Running from the basedir directory: $ tree basedir ├── [4.0K]...

Re: The "IT DOESN'T WORK!" thread

*sigh* Just don't understand how python's import system works. Either py2 or py3. So let's say there's a directory structure basedir/ |__ dirA/ |____ file1.py |__ dirB/ |____ file 2.py Can't make it so that can import methods from file1 into file2. Everything gives System Error or Value Error. Have ...

Apparently that's a GCC extension. Other compilers may have picked up on it (is that a real english expression?) https://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc-4.1.2/gcc/Case-Ranges.html According to this post [0], compiling with -pedantic will give you an error. A few friends and I had a discussion about the latest season on facebook. Thought I might as well post my thoughts here too. Like in Genesis of the Daleks? Being on Skaro, caught in a war zone with Davros on one side and the militarized Thaals on the other was hazardous enough, so you didn't need to endanger their lives directly so often.
