What do other countries teach about The united states?

As the title says I am interested in what other country's school systems teach you about The U.S., Specifically the American Revolution in places like Great Britain and Canada. I was thinking about how most people only get one view of the situation and I wanted to know what other country's peoples s...

Re: Surviving a Zombie Attack

So, assuming that the hardware store has the types of shelves that have stuff on them, but can be moved with enough force(empty, with 3-4 guys) I have come up with this: Black = entrances dark grey at 4 corners = concrete support beams for building darkgrey elsewhere = steel bars welded to connect t...

I will pull all the bookmarks out of any books you are reading, and tape the refrigerator light down so it doesn't turn on when you open the refrigerator! HA-HA!

Re: Cambervillain Indecipherable Meetup Thread (Boston Area)

In the interest of disclosure amx, I am 15 as well, so don't feel like you'll be out of place; anyways possible dates for race(although depending on skill level we might just run together) we have June 20-21st and June 27TH, with Sparkyb and I participating. So anyone else up to it?

Re: Cambervillain Indecipherable Meetup Thread (Boston Area)

But if the goal is just to run with people, we could always arrange our own personal race or something. This is a good idea, would anyone want to do something on this idea? I was planning on doing the Heartbreak Hill 5k as my first 5k. Because, you know, how hard could it possibly be? I was hoping ...

Re: Cambervillain Indecipherable Meetup Thread (Boston Area)

So, now that it's getting to be the summer and a young man or woman's fancy turns to running, does anyone want to have a meetup at a 5 or 10k? I would be interested in possibly going any number of them, I just need to know if anyone is interested.

Re: Cambervillain Indecipherable Meetup Thread (Boston Area)

Hey so yeah, I've been lurking on general for a while and just thought I'd introduce myself in this thread as I live in Framingham... which is about 30 minutes to an hour from Boston, which I believe is close enough for Boston meetings, or possible hikes/runs. My interests are: Running Hiking Scienc...
