I can switch back and forth fairly easily between dvorak and qwerty. When I learned dvorak it only took me a couple of hours with the layout onscreen practicing to become faster at it than qwerty, and if your school is as bad at blocking stuff as mine it should be easy to change the layout. I usuall...

Please, for the love of god change it to Doctor! Imagine how cool it would be to be called Doctor, everyone would call you doctor [last name] and then if you BECAME a real doctor, that's a whole 'nother story! What's your current name? personally i would go with first name 'The' last name 'Doctor'

Re: Blasting Queen during cleaning (from Intro Thread) Confession: Whenever I listen to a song, I think about how good this song would be if I was in a police chase. Yes, I think about having a high-speed police chase EVERY time I'm driving, and often when I'm not. When I first read this I skipped ...

What I sometimes do when I'm feeling unmotivated is break whatever I need to do into small chunks so I don't have to get myself motivated to do the entire task at once. Also doing things while watching tv can be easier.

wow, it's fun to read all the way through this thread in one go. It put strange thoughts in my head. sense this is a thread about going off topic, can it really go of topic itself? because any attempt to do so could be called actively exploring the issue at hand. also, this should be ironic, but isn...

I was watching my brother play morrowind on his computer, and he wanted to make a 1mp cost spell to build up the destruction skill. He was dismayed to find out that morrowind ignored the fact that he was using the dvorak keyboard layout . I suggested that he just type the name as if it didn't. It en...

-10 points for fail.

Yes it is a game, and some people find it fun. As for it being a trap (I assume that's what you meant to type) you need an invite to play so the link goes to mine.

If I were in that situation it would be one of the rare times when I wouldn't be shy because when I get really exited or caught up in something(like a Flogging Molly concert) I'm not shy at all. And being up in the sky held up by a kite would be so awesome I'd forget to be shy.

well if you separate the x into >< it looks a bit like lips coming together and it is easy to see an o as arms encircling someone. Also, I think some people are assuming that rational thought went into the idea originally and I wouldn't bet on that.

In speaking of Super Mario Bros. 1, did anybody else always just use the secret to go to World 6 and attempt to finish the game really quickly? world 6? what are you talking about? vd

the problem with v day is not that it is commercialized, because that's easy enough to ignore. The problem is that while the original goal of it may have been to have a day where people express their love for eachother, in reality it often just provides another way for people to screw things up.
