Hi, i heard a bit of this Usenet thing, tried to do a little research, but it didn't really help, so i want to hear you guys:

Could you explain why Usenet should be that better than the torrent protocol, is the rumors about it being faster than your bandwidth real, how does it even work?

As far as I was aware, there were only SHA1 hashes for the download pieces, to ensure the validity of them. Wikipedia seems to agree with me.

My torrent manager (Transmission) allows me to add and remove trackers...for when I download the latest Fedora release. yes, mine does too. but thats only for my client, it isn't changing the .torrent file, so that others would have the same change, and its not possible to make the others changing ...

shit, I thought the hash did only cover the files. i have a torrent, with 2 trackers. one from the outside world, dont know were. its an IP. and then one which a person i know is controlling. my mistake were that the script (which CANT be changed) on the server, which i have to upload to torrent fil...
