well, perhaps i have fallen for a hoax. but i dont think so. to me, this dosent seem to violate the laws of thermodymaics. when a car starts, it pulls energy off of the battery to fire the engine. once the engine is going, the battery recharges to its maximum level, but the engine/alternator continu...

my power supply is (i think) made by a company called 'ultra', but i could be wrong, as i lost the box and my computer thinks its made by asus. i am also fairly sure that it is sending the right amount of power. as for trying a different port, i did, but it will not post unless the first slot is ful...

i have tried 4 different vidio cards, all of which work in other computers. as for drivers, i checked and they are the right ones. any ideas? anyone?

my monitor is a samsung syncmaster 2232BW plus. as for drivers, they are up to date. and i had the same problem on vista. i dont currntly have acces to another monitor, but i will try switching as soon as i do. as for games...somedays everything, somedays nothing. only game never to bsod is company ...
