Re: Why understanding is good, and why reality is real

Unfortunately I feel like anyone who asked me "how do I know this is real?" in real life would soon be on the receiving end of a punch. Then I would say something droll like "Hurts REAL good huh?" or something along those lines. It's very difficult to see the place we live in as ...

Re: Fleeting/Random/Thoughts (Random like the plague)

That was the best game of Warcraft III I've ever played in my life. That human player was clearly way better than me. I have no idea how I pulled off that win. He had me against the ropes for a very long time. He did all the things I've seen top tier players do. He even had me encircled in towers. T...

As a copyeditor, I wouldn't even use Merriam-Webster as toilet paper (though some papers are willing to do so, when the tissues run out). Official style rules indicate that "doughnut" is to be privileged above "donut." Interesting. As someone who previously aspired to a job in c...

Yeah at where I work you can't do the bottle switchy trick. They're sold by the pack and aren't in the system as individuals. When I say "please go around, someone spilled soda everywhere and I'm cleaning up the mess" I didn't mean "walk right the fuck on through and track shit everywhere." Cleaning up that soda isn't even my job in the first place, but when they under-schedule people I have to step in....

Funnily enough in a few rare cases WiFi could actually be harmful. Re: Fleeting/Random/Thoughts (Random like the plague)
