Router Level Monitoring

Hey guys, I'm looking for software that monitors traffic (as in every individual website visited) from every computer. Not filtering, because I don't want to block unnecessary sites, but software that monitors websites coming in, with URL. I have looked all over, but can't seem to find anything. Any...

Re: Difficulty using Dvorak keyboards

Alright, so I tried, and the second link works perfectly. I can just put it on my USB and run it when at school. This is also a great alternative to having to install it on every single computer I come across. My problem is solved :D

Thanks Evan, I'll try that. Yewbie, I should look out, but they have never had any issues with similar things either. AFAIK they won't expel me for this. Plus, as far as I can tell, the entire network (for +/- 1400 students and 100 computers) is run by one guy who has to make do with terrible hardwa...

Difficulty using Dvorak keyboards (SOLVED)

Hey all, I recently started using the Dvorak keyboard instead of QWERTY. Now, at home this is no issue, but at school it's a different story. Using Novell they have blocked access to pretty much everything (though I don't know about batch files), and the BIOS is messed up, and so on, and so on. They...

Re: Electronic Notepads

Well, I don't have to keep them at school, but since I rarely need them at home, it's actually better. It's too bad that the majority of these electronic notepads are so pricey; they could really help cut back on paper use.

Re: Electronic Notepads

Yeah, I have a locker, but besides the issue of it being full anyway of all my books (even when organised neatly) and I always have...

There's a few issues with laptops (though I will not deny it doesn't have its benefits), the main one being that laptops will generally not be allowed by teachers. Re: Electronic Notepads

While I did consider that, the issue with that one is, besides being over my budget, that it uses batteries (although I could get rechargeable ones) but mainly that it needs a special kind of ink. What I prefer to have is one that doesn't need anything but recharges.

Hey all, I'll soon be starting my second year of IB (DP), and I have always had problems with the weight of my bags. I blame Clapton for all the emotionless white-blues noodling that's so popular, which is a direct corollary to the fact that I think soloing often cheapens music. And yeah, I also like John Cage. What's wrong with soloing? And by soloing, do you mean having only one person do everything, or have a ...

Port Forwarding with Dynamic IP

Hey,

I just got uTorrent and after some research found out you can improve download speed. I have a few questions about that;
1. Does the torrent download speed really increase dramatically?
2. If so, is it possible to forward a port with a dynamic IP?
3. If so, is it worth the work?

Thanks

Re: Finding Prime Numbers With C++

your main() you seem to want to search for a divisor and output it. Why do that extra work when your function that tests for primality has that information available? I'd actually disagree with that. Well, it would be fine to have Prime return a factor, but it's not doing any extra work the way it ...

Actually, there is no real use for that divisor, because all it is is two. It is supposed to divide the big numbers each time and check whether it's a prime number, or otherwise divide it again. Revised code, without the need 'divisor': #include <iostream> using namespace std; int isPrime(unsigned l...
