Re: 0956: "Sharing"

The thing I found funny was that she carries a laptop around, ready to whip out for any surprise USB ports. Not only that, but a USB cable as well. I wonder if the tree has a B receptacle (which is typical for a device you'd plug a cable into) or an A plug (which you'd expect on a dead drop - allow...

Re: 0869: "Server Attention Span"

Randall must have been on lifehacker recently. It gets even worse when you're not in the US, when you get the worthless redirects even from desktop browsers. This lifehacker situation has been plaguing me since it started. I hate it. Pulse, on android suffers from it too, I only get to read what co...

Re: 0864: "Flying Cars"

There is another Randall out there who also wishes there was a flying car. Randall and Dante talk about the flying car while stuck in traffic That is a classic clip, but isn't really about flying cars but randall's (of clerks) ability to turn a deal around into something horrible. I think this was m...

If you want to try thinking of other dimensions after the 4th once you get comfortable with the game mentioned in the hover text, you can try checking out the website http://www.tenthdimension.com/flash2.php it is for a book called imagining the tenth dimension, found it back when I found "What...

Re: “Snow Tracking” discussion

#5 is probably a reference to my neighbor's dead rabbit. It had been eating at me every time I saw xkcd in my iGoogle page, and I couldn't settle with it being a straight forward reference to Loony Toons/Bugs Bunny. Or even just a nice pun in the alt text. Searching for hare dryer quickly came back ...

Re: "October 30th" Discussion

Wait so was he aiming for last years October 31st?

I think what he really did was undershot, or am I missing some specific date from the plot of one of the movies?

Re: "Climbing" discussion

This reminds me of the Clerks cartoon... The scene starts with them climbing up Leonardo tower, then a flower pot falls (against the "side" of the tower), zoom out and they were walking along the lower part of the L instead of climbing. http://www.ehlovader.com/v_signature.gif

I checked this at work. And my supervisor walked past just after I scrolled past it. Phew! Close call... Today and tomorrow are going to be rough days... with a NSFW xkcd my iGoogle home page has become a bit raunchy. Still won't beat the day I had to work on a colleagues computer, to try an...

Re: "Time Travel" Discussion

I have traveled here from 1983 to say this: This form of time travel makes much more sense than that of most Movies, where the user is instantly transported backwards in time instantly. At least one movie on time travel, that I know of,( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primer_(film) ) does make the tra...

Re: "Tab Explosion" Discussion

Surprised to see this comic still very active here.. but also not. It was hilarious, and I like that it was also linked to content related to the comic. I find myself doing this on numerous sites. Stumble Upon had taken over my life briefly, until i realized anything worthwhile I would decide to sav...

This is definately true, the whole file menu thing gets really messy when you factor in having to have your family member list all of the options at each level over the phone. But randomly trying every possibility is more effective than you would think. http://www.ehlovader.com/v_signature.gif

Why don't you just tell me the movie you've selected?
