Re: My number is bigger!
Still, without actually computing the number it brings us back to that uncertainty: which number is really bigger? We may never know. But we may, analyzing the structures and methods upon which each number is built, we can draw a provable conclusion for either A or B being the biggest, even if neit...

I'll give it a tighter bound for gigs and shittles // is for commentary restrict x to positive integers B(x) = 10^x x! < x^x // for x=>2 since x! = x*y1*y2... where all yn are smaller than x and the amount of multiplicands is equal to x and x^x = x*y1*y2... where all yn are not smaller than x and th...

Re: My number is bigger and i can prove it!
10^100
i enter.. 10^101, which is bigger than 10^100 and i can prove it
a^(b+1) > a^b for a=>2<=b
in this case
a = 10 and b = 100
10^101 = 10^(100+1)

My number is bigger and i can prove it!
The rules: 1. Post a number which is bigger than at least one previous number. 2. Specify which number(s) it is you are beating with your entry and then prove it. This also beats all the entries smaller than the one(s) you are beating 3. You can use any notation you want, but it must be understandab...

Re: My number is bigger!
Almost as pointless as the Count to 1000 thread, this one doesn't require any particular increment between entries. The goal is to come up with a computable, finite, well-defined number that's bigger than the last poster's number
Did you read the rules in the op?

Re: The Large Number Game
I dont think its a coefficient. but i agree CPPs(n) < BB(f(n)) where f is some strictly increasing function from naturals to naturals. Also i do understand that compilers make a difference but, not being a programmer myself, i don't really know enough in depth to make an educated choice, so i omitte...

thats a toughie, I do not believe in the concept of a soul, And i do not fear death Epicurus of Samos wrote: Death does not concern us, for when we exist, death is not here, and when death comes, we are no longer here.
