Re: *geek-gasm* IT'S OFFICIAL!! (Starcraft 2)

I was playing a 4v4 with some friends the other day, and we all chose Terran (we'll occasionally do something like that, like all choosing random or a specific race, shits and giggles and all). On the loading screen, we found that our opponents were all Protoss. Since we were already planning on me...

Re: *geek-gasm* IT'S OFFICIAL!! (Starcraft 2)

I don't think any of these creative handicaps are going to work--each race is different enough that some will be utterly crippled by certain limitations, while some aren't affected at all. For instance, having only three different units doesn't hurt Terran too much, given the power of just MMM, whil...

I have yet to purchase a single. If I only like the one song, I'll listen to it on youtube or something. Otherwise I'll buy albums. I think my first purchased album was something by Three Days Grace or Breaking Benjamin (eh, yeah, I don't look too fondly back on my music at the time).

Same thing happened to me, actually. I saw Scott Pilgrim, that song Black Sheep stuck, I looked it up, and got into Metric. Personally, though, I like the actress in the movie singing that song more than Metric.

Yeah, it's why I tend not to play 1v1 that much (that, and I almost always have friends online when I play, and we have more fun with team games). I got placed in platinum (haven't played much since), but I've already had games where I've won and gone "that shouldn't have happened--he outplayed...

but honestly, playing Terran is pretty close to cheating anyway . While I'm not denying that Terran are rather powerful at the moment, that graph is manipulated to make the imbalance look much worse than it actually is. Vikings seem to get their shit wrecked by Void Rays, too. Are they good against ANYTHING? Are the void rays charged up when you're attacking them with vikings? I've always found that vikings are a great counter to void rays with their range and bonus to armored targets. I don't know about cost diff...

What Erasmus said: as terran, counter mutas with thors. They have an AoE air attack that does bonus damage to light, and chances are your opponent won't micro them well enough to keep them spread out.

Really, I'd just want the ability to change at will for whatever's necessary, and then being able to change back, because let's face it: four arms are cumbersome when, say, riding a bike, or reading, etc. For the sake of this discussion, though, I'd mostly be interested in simply fine-tuning all the...

Definitely Pandora. Ever since discovering Pandora, it's led me to band after band. Whenever I find a new one I like, I'll just make a channel based around them, and that'll lead me to a new one to base a channel around, and so on. Scrolling down my channel list seems like a trip back in time (also,...
