XKCD Now (1335) Android Widget

Hi,

So I made a simple widget that shows XKCD Now (#1335) on your homescreen.

Here's the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... dnowwidget

I hope you enjoy :)

PS: If this should go in another thread please tell me. I'm new here.

Re: Mouse vs Keyboard

it really depends on what I'm doing. When coding/writing an essay, of course I'll use mostly keyboard shortcuts, because the main action is typing. When browsing though, I lay back and try to not use the keyboard and do everything with the mouse.

Re: Google Search vs Bing

I was bored one day at the mall so I sat down for about a half-hour and counted the wins/loses. I can't find the exact numbers anymore but Google won big time.

Re: The One True Pronunciation of ".GIF"

I found that in the west coast more people pronounce it with a soft G, but in the east more people say a hard G. It's just personal experience, so I may be wrong.

Re: Rome Total War II

I haven't played any of the series but I'm thinking of getting into it. Do you think RTW2 is a good start or should I start with another one from the series? I really like Civ, so I assume I'll like this as well.

Re: Only possible pronunciation for FAQ:

Definitely FAAK. It sounds like Fac, from french, which stands for Faculté in french, which means university, so it's fitting.

Re: 1337: "Hack"

Slightly off topic: This comic inspired me to look for satellites passing above me (they look like shooting stars, and are EXTREMELY predictable (down to the second) timing-wise). There's an iridium flare passing right above my house this weekend. I plan on impressing some people by predicting a &qu...
