Re: Let's ACTUALLY listen to each other's music!

Listened to the Assassin's Creed 2 OST song linked, was great! Even before I read the name of the piece (Venice Rooftops) I had the feeling of running fast, high above ground. I'm listening to other songs from the game, so far I've liked them. They all sound great for running, actually. Haven't play...

Re: Instruments you wish you played

I wish I played the saxophone. I own one but can't practice with it because the apartment (room) I live in is so small and the sound from it is HUGE. I stopped playing the clarinet five years ago, now I wish I hadn't. I was getting pretty good at it. It's amazing to see notes for songs I could play ...

Re: The worst film you've seen

Ladyhawke. The soundtrack makes it impossible to watch. I bought the DVD some months ago because I have vague memories of liking it when I was very young - it was one of those movies that I could remember scenes from, that I could remember loving at the time, but that I couldn't remember the name of...

Re: "Scary" Discussion

Good comic. This is a popular topic of conversation among my friends and I. People who are 10 now are having a very different childhood from mine, mostly because of advancing technology I guess, and it's only been ten years. It doesn't make me feel old, just curious about what the world will look li...

Re: Recommend me an awesome graphic novel

Tried to come up with something good that hasn't been mentioned yet, and somehow ended up with superserious French art comic stuff. Oh well. Ordinary Victories by Manu Larcenet, four parts, recently finished. I thought it was lovely and had a realistic feel to it. The Beast Trilogy by Enki Bilal. Lo...

Re: Really good ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING food

As a kid I used to mix chocolate powder with milk so that I had around 1dl of milk and 2dl of powder. It was easier to eat with a spoon than actually drink. The only thing that I can think of that I now find really tasty and others find discusting is rye bread with cheese and honey on it. Actually, ...

Re: Suitable movie to watch nonstop for 24 hours

I wouldn't want to pick a movie that I actually like, since after 24 hours of looking at it I probably wouldn't, anymore. I'm thinking something along the lines of The Phantom Menace - something I don't like especially, something I've already seen over ten times, something with simple dialogue and p...

Re: Digimon vs. Pokemon

I never much cared for Pokemon, but I adored the 1st season of Digimon as a kid. I totally had a crush on one of the characters (Yamato Ishida, the blond kid with the blond kid brother). I remember searching pictures and information of him in the internet, eventually stumbling upon fanart and fanfic...

Re: INTRO THREAD THE THIRD

Hello xkcd, this is me and here I am. I'm happy, 20 years old, University student of English Translation, a smoker, a friend and a blond. I like being all the aforementioned stuff, I like people and voluntary loneliness, I like learning new stuff that's completely trivial to my day-to-day existence,...
