Re: Kickstarter Thread. Everything Goes Here.

Another cute little project, Kingdom Death: Monster 1.5 . They asked for 100k, and got 8M... so far, with 23 days to go  https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/poots/kingdom-death-monster-15/description I don't think I've ever heard the word "cute" used in relation to KDM. Let's sa...

Re: Player building in Camelot Unchained and Crowfall

Another "double" submission, video comparison between these two games - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQmCG33uMTo&feature=youtu.be PS Camelot Unchained had a little graphical update recently, it looks better than in that video above - tho it's still alpha, beta should start sometime ...

Re: Kickstarter Thread. Everything Goes Here.

So I've been thinking about buying Pillars of Eternity. Looks like a good game, the type I'd like. Just looked back and found I backed it on Kickstarter, but never got my game key. Looks like I may have other things I backed and forgot about. Yea, these games take time - more than enough to forget!...

Re: Player building in Camelot Unchained and Crowfall

Wow, those both look incredible. Procedural generation and sandbox tools have come a long way. Indeed - it's kinda pity that games such as No Man's Sky get all the hype, leaving many interesting indie projects in the shadow. For those who doesn't recognize the name, Mark Jacobs was the lead develop...

Re: Kickstarter Thread. Everything Goes Here.

This is somewhat exotic, kickstarted gaming dices. Link leads to the Wizard set, there is warrior one too etc. - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/po ... n=bb611a6e

PS People seem to like this a lot, they already have twelve times more (!) than they asked for :)

Player building in Camelot Unchained and Crowfall

Both games are sandbox MMOs in alpha tests, Camelot Unchained aka "Dark Age of Camelot 2" (...meets Minecraft, I would add) by Mark Jacobs and Crowfall aka "Game of Thrones meets EVE Online" - their very ambitious slogan from Kickstarter in March 2015, I also heard "Your Sta...

Re: Your video game ideas

Besides some complex ones (I don't feel like writing textwalls at the moment), one of the simple ideas I'd like to see is - take Warhammer Online (my GOAT) and add building (free form or modular, anything but pre-made) and destruction, deep crafting (say, Star Wars: Galaxies one) and third faction. ...
