I don't know where else to go with this, but: the Dutch translator(s) for 'Thing Explainer' royally screwed up. In Dutch, words that belong together are grouped together, so for example 'traffic light ' is 'verkeers licht ' This has the advantage that Dutch is a little bit more flexible than English...
