### Re: Encode a message so it can't be read until a certain time?

As long a the machine is not compromised, should be just fine. I think the presumption is that the stakes are high enough that the machine will be attacked by very smart people. It's running Outlook. It's a dead duck. Jose Assuming it can be found. This could be a running on a virtual machine anywh...

Bear in mind, that in this context, a bullet is a large, slow moving object. The more common type of debris would be a fleck of paint, moving at ten times the speed of a bullet.

### Trickier problem than it seems. (goat in a circular paddock)

You have a goat, tied to the fence of a circular paddock. The paddock has a radius of 100M. You want the goat to eat HALF of the grass.

How long does the rope need to be?

The probability of a satellite hitting another is very low, HOWEVER, a particle the size of a grain of sand can easily smash a satellite in...

### Re: Encode a message so it can't be read until a certain time?

Most email clients can do this. Just set up a PC (real or virtual) somewhere, load Outlook, configure the email and send away! (Options, more options, Do not deliver before) on Outlook 2010.

As long a the machine is not compromised, should be just fine.

### Re: energy currency?

A few sci-fi movies and books have used the theme of life being a form or currency. "In Time" spring to mind.
