Re: Low carb cooking

For a low carb every-day meal, i love myself some good cauliflower rice fried-rice. Put a head in the food processor until it's grinded into rice-like granules. Add some sesame oil (or whatever oil you prefer) into a non stick skillet. Fry for a few minutes, then douse with some soy sauce. Break an ...

Re: Should schools have police alarms?

Maybe there should be police arms in administrator offices or specific places just in case a 911 call isn't possible or might be too late.

Re: The Thread To Remind Me We're Living In The Future

It is definitely a good thing it was a Tesla put up there. Can you imagine how hard it would be to have to change the oil every 15000km? Also keep an eye out for ads which will soon be able to mention that their cars, on average, have a very impressive range on a single charge. I totally agree with...

Re: In other news... (humorous news items)

Reality TV star Kylie Jenner wiped $1.3bn (£1bn) off the stock market value of Snapchat after tweeting that she no longer used its messaging app. Celebrity Kim Kardashian's half-sister posted: "sooo does anyone else not open Snapchat anymore? Or is it just me... ugh this is so sad." Snapc...

Re: Black Mirror

Not all of their episodes are about how technology is terrible, some are pretty hopeful. My favorite was "San Junipero". There were no dark twists and was pretty optimistic.

Re: Altered Carbon

I thought it started out super strong but ended kinda slow. There were too many plot connections that didn't quite seem realistic.

There have to be legal policies to protect people against 23AndMe and other DNA companies from selling your DNA results to other companies.... I smell a conspiracy.

Re: I think I need to stop smoking.

i highly recommend downloading Audible or some other audio book app and start obsessively listening to "quit smoking" book. Allen Carr "Easy Way To Stop Smoking" is a very popular one. When you go for a walk, driving in the car, etc, listen to the book instead of smokign.
