I've done the valsalva countless times and never ruptured a capillary.

What uni are you studying at?

Both Melbourne and Monash have awesome gyms, fully equipped with lifting platforms, power cages, and barbells. For some reason they aren't advertised much. The Melbourne uni one is cheap for students, don't know how much Monash costs.

Good on you, I've been doing SS for the last four months and the strength gains have been great. Gone from a 45kg to a 152.5kg squat.

Remember to eat enough to fuel your recovery, and then some to gain some weight.

^ The last I heard from his Q&A forum was that he recommends a sort of L sit pullup. (As in, legs raised while doing the pullup.) Since you'll be doing pullups anyway it's an easy way to incorporate ab work into the program.

The advantage of a stationary bike is that you can do it while watching TV, and you can do endurance or higher intensity work as needed. It's also good on your knees. Unless you have weight-trained for at least a year using someone else's plan (a reputable plan) and have a fair knowledge of muscle anatomy, don't make your own plan.
