Quick, probably simple question from a math contest

A quick note: I think these are all taken at the same time everywhere, but just in case I'll spoiler the question and delete it if it might give someone the answer. (Can't be too careful :P ) I took a "math challenge" kind of thing, part of a competition called log1. One of the questions w...

Re: C++ Not Declared Problem

Well, I fixed my typo in the OP. The #defines are correct, I just copied the two files wrong. The tildes are supposed to show the separation of the two files, but I guess that was only clear to me. As for the error message, I'll post it when I can access that computer, but AFAIK it says "input_...

C++ Not Declared Problem

I'm sorry to even bother everyone with what seems to be such a simple problem, but I've been at it for the last day and I can't figure it out. I have the main cpp file (called capp.cpp just because I was following a tutorial). EDIT: I added in the whole class and fixed the formatting problems, so it...

It's actually a "Tk", since IDLE was written in Python with Tkinter, IIRC. As to how to change it, I believe that the source for IDLE is somewhere in the python installation, and so if you really wanted to you could edit that.

wxWidgets Events [solved]

So basically, I am trying to update a wxStaticText every time a wxTextCtrl changes. Unfortunately, I've gotten by with the other events (sliders etc.) on blind luck, so I'm stuck on this without really knowing what I'm doing. Here is what should run every time the text changes. ...

Maybe. It's up to the college you go to whether they will apply an AP grade as course credit. I can tell you that back in my day a 5 on the AB wasn't even good enough for Carnegie Mellon to waive the mandatory programming course for non-majors. (I'm assuming you speak from experience here.) Ouch.
