Re: Building a desktop, requesting input

Looks decent all around. PSU choice looks fine. Will you be gaming? If not, you can probably skimp on the GPU and save a few bucks. You didn't say what you'll be running on this, so it's hard to say. I'd get a bigger HDD, personally. It's not much more money, for a lot more space. I plan on casuall...

Building a desktop, requesting input

My computer is five years old and was cheap to begin with; I think it's time to get a new one. Because I want the best value for my money, I decided to build a custom PC. However, I am new to building from scratch, and I need to know if the following components will assemble into a functional PC, as...

Abel Ganz, their progressive rock song So Far is 23 minutes long. It has Celtic flute, Spanish guitar, synth solos, hard rock, classical, and probably more styles in that song.

I thought it was referring to the movie Salt, about a Russian spy, in reaction to the recent suburban Russian spy incidents, because it would encourage people to become Russian spies or something stupid like that.

A fairly obscure reference that I knew off hand, I feel special! Based off of Piraha that was initially described as having words for only "one," "two," and "many." I'll just point to Wikipedia since I'm too lazy to find the article I first read about it. I just read a...

Well, most of my life was this still-nameless decade. I'll go through it year-by-year: 2000: Everyone was excited about the new millenium. Being in kindergarten, I had just recently learned about how to use calendars and whatnot, and having a '200x' instead of a '199x' really threw off my way of thi...

Nothing extreme, but I did almost screw up a computer by using a high resolution on a very old monitor once. The screen remained black until we took it to Best Buy and had them use their not-old monitor to lower the resolution.

I've played euphonium in school for over four years, and it is much more awesome as the difficulty increases. A...
