I have not had the implant personally, but [warning, anecdotal evidence!] a friend of mine experienced pretty severe emotional swings for about the first month of the 3-month time it lasted. She had it twice, but ended up getting the Nuvaring which she prefers.

So the wisdom tooth stuff was uneventful. Local anesthetic only, ate lots of applesauce, took Vicoprofen. I'm getting the stitches out tomorrow. Everything seems to have healed up just fine. Hurray!
