Be careful with the amount of extras you use on sandwiches and salads. The mayo, butter or dressing could make a huge difference in fat and calories in what is otherwise a sensible set of food choices. Not that you need to cut it all, but measuring to see what you use and being aware of your consump...

I don't suppose explaining that there is no magic fix is going to make a difference to her actions, that eating a well-rounded healthy diet and getting some exercise is the best way to lose or maintain weight, not by cutting whole swaths of food from her (and your) diet. Anything is ok in moderation...

Your plans look common sense. I think you have a good chance to maintain them because you're working in fun, not cutting out everything you love to eat. Remember that small steps can make a large difference over the long term. Add one fruit or veg per day or per meal. If nothing else, you get better...
