Re: ITT: We make xkcd slightly worse.

How do you get the fonts of your text to synch up so nicely with what XKCD uses? Normally I use an xkcd-mimicking font. It's not perfect, so I sometimes retype the rest of the text in that sentence/speech bubble so it isn't right next to the 'real' xkcd text. In my post above I didn't actually add ...

Also, at what point does the radiative emission override the need for flea powder. Because frankly, they're a bugger... Fortunately for you, plasma at 16 million Kelvin is known to kill fleas. Re: What-if 0064: "Rising Steadily"

What would happen to a chilled human corpse passing through the upper atmosphere and orbital space? She'd take 3.8 days to get into space (~100 km) and 3.8 years to pass geosynchronous orbit (35 786 km). I think she'd freeze in the upper troposphere and thaw and re-freeze passing through the stratos...

1. Because ectoplasm, like DNA, decays over time. You will rarely see any ghosts more than five hundred years old, due to ectoplasmic degradation. So, just like the horribly sad truth that dinosaurs will [probably] never be cloned, their ghosts are also gone forever. 7. They're not gone forever. Th...
