Planetside and Planetside 2 have some multi-level tactics. The series is primarily an MMO shooter, but platoon leaders can set waypoints and draw on the map to give orders and coordinate logistics (setting up spawn points, constructing forward bases, supplying ammo for vehicles, etc). When there's h...

Is it really exponential growth? Maybe every time you kill someone in a video game, that event creates a brand new video game, and an AI starts playing and killing people in the new video game, which creates more games, ad infinitum.

I played Betrayer because it's on sale for 99 cents and Steam recommended it to me. Not a great game, since it was entirely fetch quests, but I did like the atmosphere and the combat. You could reduce it to 1 bit per second, at which point I guess it would be beeping or not beeping.

Or 1 bit per song in a custom format, if you don't mind narrowing the space of possible songs even further. 0 plays one song, 1 plays a different song.

The "vow of poverty" challenge in Crypt of the Necrodancer is fun but infuriating. You instantly die if you pick up any gold (which every enemy drops), and I keep accidentally surrounding myself with gold or being pushed into a tile with gold or just forgetting to avoid it.
