Re: 0995: "Coin Star"

I'm saving pennies to fill the machine with enough to be a hassle to them afterwards. Anyone know the capacity of these machines? From detailed research (3 minutes on the internet), the holding bin is roughly a 60x60x60cm 3 box. a penny is roughly 0.4cm 3 , but let's call it 0.6cm 3 to allow for th...

Re: 0960: "Subliminal"

Holy cats! It says Fed Ex! Wow, I would have never seen that unless I went through this forum.

Re: 0281: "Online Package Tracking"

*gasp!* I have a package going through Memphis right now! Does Randall order stuff from Newegg.com too?

Newegg.com is in California, yet UPS said my package originated in Memphis....hmm....

Re: 0814: Diode

If only you could use this principle to make a perpetual motion machine.

I can see myself using #2 if I ever become a math teacher. I'd also work in a one liner from xkcd.com/272.

Re: tlhIngan Hol yIjatlh! (Klingon Practise)

You know, I'd love to pick up some very basic Klingon. Just because. Anyone know a good site for this? I found the best way to learn is actually to buy the Klingon Dictionary. $15 US, best 15 dollars I have ever spent. I take it everywhere I go. The grammar is extremely simple, and I could teach yo...

Re: "Time Machine" Discussion

Maybe that's how Doc got his idea for the flux capacitor in Back to the Future I, I was always skeptical about his hitting-his-head-on-the-toilet-bowl story.

Re: "Single Ladies" Discussion

Wow! How'd you guys travel 3 minutes into the future? Anyways, I like all the random connections Randall's been making lately. Well, actually only the last 2 were like that, so I hope the next one is too! Well, you see, I had a brother that died, and when he did, I felt the pain in my heart instant...
