New York has some pretty bad examples of this.

Livonia Ave on the L and Junius St. on the 2/3 are one block (1/20 mi) away from each other. The shortest route between the stations is 17 stops. The 2/3 tracks pass over the L tracks. There is an unused siding connecting the lines.

As far as the alt text, it would've been more appropriate to mention glib instead of glibc. glib depends on pkg-config. pkg-config depends on glib.

The answer is that the circuit bursts into flames because there's a 50V source with both sides connected to ground.

EDIT: And some AC sources with the ends hooked together.

I know all you guys hate it, but Silverlight is actually a much better platform than Flash. It has a GPL'd implementation (of the most important parts at least), Flash doesn't. It's much faster than Flash. It has support for programming concepts that Flash can't even dream of. Also, HTML5 can't repl...

If you can buy an identical hard drive (you probably can't), you can open them up and swap the platters and hope it works. Finding an identical hard drive is near-impossible if the drive isn't aftermarket though :/

You didn't link the Boost libraries. It's not enough to just include the header file, you need to add boost to the list of libraries to link in (in an IDE) or -lboost (gcc command line) or /LNK:\path\to\boost.lib (cl.exe).
